St Michaels Church
A landmark in the village which is beautifully lit up at night and is well known for its Christmas services. Used by the locals and the schoolchildren. situated on Church Lane.

Dedicated to St Michael the church has links back to norman times with its doorway, There is a 17th Century pulpit.
As well as being a lovely building one of the special features are finely carved pew ends. They illustrate the demise of the Abbot of Glastonbury who over taxed his parishioners so heavily that he was seen to be the fox among fowl. The villagers were powerless to do anything so they hung him in effigy.
