Brent Knoll
Brent Knoll is located in Somerset in the South West of England. The village is on the western side of Brent Knoll Hill which is one of the few hills on the Somerset levels. You can see the hill from the nearby M5 Motorway.
The hill stands 448ft above sea level, giving stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The name means Beacon Hill in Old English.
The hill was used as an Iron Age fort. Before the somerset levels were drained the hill was known as the Mount of Frogs.
The main employment is out of the area because of the excellent road links with the M5.
